He was predeceased by: his father Woodrow Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kiser Farmer; his son Chris Farmer (Dianne) of Huntington Beach, California; his mother Irene Counts of Lizella, Georgia; and his siblings, Jerry Farmer of Lizella, Georgia and Lola Light of Roanoke, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
