Rachael Lynn Gilmer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rachael Lynn Gilmer of Castlewood, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John Ray, Frankie Peters, Robert and Mary Brickey; and also John Ray Peters, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Ashby Gilmer; her son Turner Gilmer; her parents, Michael Brickey and Cora Brickey; her siblings, Jeana Hall (Dale), Michael Brickey, Jr. and Laura Luttrell (Michael); her nieces, Ashley Skeens (Michael), Scarlett Bowlds (Adam) and Margarette Brickey; her nephew Zachary Luttrell (Natausha); and also Easton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or online at http://www.stjude.org family would like to express their gratitude to the physicians and the nursing staff who cared for Rachael, Dr. Maatouk, Dr. Casillas, Dr. Vaughn, Shirley Davis, NP, Loria Davis, Bailey Hunt, Ashland Meade, Sharon Cox, and all the chemotherapy nurses who loved on her.
