It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul John Edwards of Castlewood, Virginia, born in Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwards and Dacie Holbrook Edwards; and his sisters, Alba Lee Woods, Maudie Epperly, Joan Willis and Gaynell Sweet.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Edwards; his son Brandon Paul Edwards of Castlewood, Virginia; his sisters, Ellen Linkous of Radford, Lorene Crawford of Salem, Juanita Dunn of Rockford, Julie Wolfe of Abingdon and Joy Gibson of Castlewood, Virginia; and his grandson Reece Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, the Funeral Service for Paul John Edwards will be conducted at 2:00 p. m., Monday, July 6, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Marvin Cain and Rev. Travis Lambert officiating.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the family.
