She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul James Ruff Sr. and Virginia Dare Addington Ruff; her daughter Kathy Renee Dixon; her grandson Patrick Thomas Dixon; and her siblings, Brenda Grizzle, Lavonna Edwards, Nancy Ruff and Bobby Joe Ruff.
She is survived by: her husband James W. Dixon Sr.; her son James William "Jamie" Dixon (Karen); her grandchildren, Chris Smith (Caitlyn), Justin Smith (Makalia), Jacob Dixon, Tori Dixon, Molly Dixon and Benjamin Dixon; her great grandchildren, Ava Smith, Archie Smith, Charlee Dixon, Josie Smith and Emma Jo Smith; and her siblings, Paul James Ruff Jr. (Kathy), Timothy Allen Ruff and Lara McCammon (Kevin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
