She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Meade and Lou Virgie Porter Meade; her husband James Eugene Jessee; and her siblings, Allene Brooks, Gladys Harvey, Walter Meade, Charlie Meade, Robert Meade and Nathan Meade.
She is survived by: her son Michael Eugene Jessee (Pauline) of Castlewood, Virginia; her grandson Michael James Jessee of Castlewood, Virginia; and her sisters, Gay Hartsock and Shirley Bates. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Lou Veda Meade Jessee will be conducted at 11:00 a. m. Friday, March 26, 2021, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Arville Dingus officiating.
