He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn Gay Austin Brown of Castlewood, Virginia; his daughters, Clara Wadia Austin (Dwight Selvilla) of Castlewood, Mary Ann Smith (Allen) of Nickelsville and Mildred Louise Meade-Reed (Kenneth Scott) of Weber City, Virginia; his grandchildren, Carrie Nichole Johnson, Jamey Bush, Kesha Gibson, Ashely Austin Herman, Erica Leeann Austin LaBlanc, Joshua Harlan Meade and William "Austin" Smith; his siblings, Barbara Sue Hall, Kaney Austin, Marvin Austin, Larry Austin and Ronald Austin; and his pet Chewy. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
