He was predeceased by: his parents, Odrick Olen and Ollie Mabeline Blevins Salyers; his wife Sondra Kay Dutton Salyers; and his half-brother Jimmy Lee Blevins. He is survived by: his children, Becky Salyers (Andrew Jessee) of Abingdon, Nancy Perry (Charlie) of Castlewood, Virginia and Matthew Salyers (Jody) of Castlewood, Virginia; his grandchildren, Andrew Salyers, Katana Leonard, Blythe Leonard, Rylee Jessee, Dylan Salyers, Jasper Salyers and Sanora Leonard; his sisters, Linda Cannon and Patsy Bush (Pete); his half-sister Shirley Bise (Sherman); his brothers, Ronnie Salyers (Melissa) and Terry Salyers (Missy); and his pets, Russell and Miss Kitty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
