She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Joe Sr. and Bessie Gay Powers Jessie; her husband Sammy Dewey Leftwich; her brothers, Henry Dewayne Jessie and Billy Joe Jessie, Jr.; and her nephew Travis Gage.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Howard (Andrew Sturgill) and Sammy Lee Leftwich; her grandchildren, Dewey Sturgill, Trinity Leftwich, Matthew Leftwich, Payton Clifton, Chantal Clifton and Destiny Compton; and her siblings, Kenneth Jessie, Joseph Jessie (Melinda) and Patricia Counts (Marvin).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
