He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scott Rueben and Rachel Delilah Hicks Lell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Louise Vanderpool Lell; his children, Terry Chaffin, Bertha Wood (John), Sherry Ann Lell, Joseph Lynn Lell, Jr. (Donna) and Floyd Scott Lell (Sherry); his grandchildren, Gary Joe Chaffin, Mark Chaffin, Brad Chaffin, Courtney Smith, Madyson Hatfield and Jasmine Lell; his great grandchildren, Luke Wallen, Braylie Chaffin, Savanna Craft, Caylee Chaffin, Travis Wood, Meagan Wood, Ryan Phipps and Willow Phipps; his great great grandchildren, Marshall Scott Smith, Allison Wilkins and Aiden Wilkins; and his friends, Allen and Jeanette Hicks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
