He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patton and Mayro Horne Puckett; and his brothers, Lee Puckett, Ray Puckett and Emory Puckett.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Puckett; his children, Lesa Stapleton (John) of Nickelsville, Virginia and Greg Puckett of Dungannon, Virginia; his grandson Jared; his brothers, Robert Puckett of Dungannon and Ronnie Puckett (Jean) of Kingsport, Tennessee; and his pets, Desi and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
