He is survived by: his wife Zola Lou Hackney; his children, Lisa Jessee (George) of Lebanon, Virginia and David Hackney (Linda) of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Kayla Johnson (Jeremiah) of Lebanon, Rachael Ferguson (Austin) of Bristol and Andrew Jessee (Jessica Dye) of Lebanon, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
