He is survived by: his wife Diane Chafin; his daughter Summer McCown (Lee) of Castlewood, Virginia; his brother Jim Chafin (Joyce Page); his granddaughter Maddie McCown; his nephews, Dalton Salyer, Peyton Salyer and Jamie Chafin; his niece Jennifer Chafin; his close friends, Danny, Terri Hicks, John and Alisia Robinson; and also, Cody and Lady.
