He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McCoy and Denise Brummel McCoy; his mother-in-law Sheila Mitchell; his brother-in-law Timothy McCoy; and his close friends, James Wolff and Michael Deal.
He is survived by: his wife Joni McCoy; his children, Austin Tyler McCoy (Crystal Hamilton) of St. Paul Virginia, Destiny Lorelle Clingaman (Jacob) of Peru Indiana and Lynleigh Nicole McCoy; his grandson Oliver Remus McCoy; his brothers, Paul McCoy (Patricia) and Jody McCoy (Katrina); his grandmother Donna Noble of Yorkville, Illinois; his father-in-law Carlos Mitchell; and his siblings-in-law, Josette McCoy and James Mitchell (Leticia). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He also made sure to donate blood whenever possible.
