He was predeceased by: his parents, James Raymond, Sr. and Kitty Irene Fortner Bailey; his wife Mary Magdaline Bailey; and his stepson Jeff Chafin. He is survived by: his brother Jack P. Bailey; his stepson James H. Chafin; and his stepgrandchildren, Jamie Chafin, Summer McCowan and Jennifer King.
