It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Herbert White (Castlewood, Virginia), born in Trammel, Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Granville and Annie Leftwich White. He is survived by: his wife Charlene "Cookie" White; his children, Sheryl Pientka (Rick) of Wise, Virginia, James Alan White of Bristol and Steven Wayne White of Castlewood, Virginia; and his siblings, Faye Roberts of Abingdon, Margaret Jones (Fred) of Abingdon, Nancy Hall (Danny) of Bristol, Alice Wooldridge of Tennessee, Charlie White (Peggy) of Wytheville, Howard White (Janie) of Castlewood and Lee White (Norma) of Blountville, Tennessee. He is also survived by several half-brothers and half-sisters; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
