It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Salyer of Castlewood, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Swanson and Bertha Estill Baker Castle; her husband Billy Conrad Salyer; and her brother Bernard Swanson Castle. She is survived by: her nephews, Jeff Castle (Mandy) of Castlewood and Kevin Castle (Becky) of Kingsport, Tennessee; her stepson Kerry Simpson (Darcy) of Buford, Georgia; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Candace Castle, Alyssa Castle, Kacie Royston (Cullen), Nathaniel Castle and Jasper Strange; and her close friends, Dixie Mitchell, Jackie, Bill White, Pam Helbert, Patti Sanders, Michelle Benner, Pam Culbertson, Matthew Keith, Bernice, Jim Easterwood, Tim, Kelly and Becky Buxton.
