She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. "Bob" McReynolds and Grace Rose McReynolds; her husband Claude "Bud" Brooks, Jr.; and her siblings, Alger McReynolds, J. D. McReynolds and Lois Markham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Brooks Casey (Gary) of Kingsport, Rose Wynne Brooks Mathisen (Kenneth) of Nashville and Bonna Brooks Canale (Stuart) of Germantown, Tennessee; her grandson Aaron Brooks Casey (Rachel) of Louisville, Colorado; her brother Ted McReynolds of Kingsport, Tennessee; and her stepgrandsons, Gates Canale (Katie) of Hixon and Hunter Canale (Morgan) of Millington, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
