It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Lowell Bellamy (Castlewood, Virginia), born in Lebanon, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Bellamy and Louise Kimberly Bellamy; his sons, Jamie Bellamy and Walter Hurd, Jr.; and his siblings, Pete Bellamy, Jim Bellamy, Margie Caldwell and Marletta Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Bellamy; his children, Jackie Day (Dennis) of Grundy, Virginia, Herman Bellamy, Jr. of Cleveland and Adam Hurd (Regina) of St. Paul, Virginia; his sisters, Jean Wright of Castlewood and Hazel Marshall (Calvin) of St. Paul, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Ariel Hurd, Ashley Hurd, Megan Trent, Jacob Hurd, Isaac Fleming and Dylan Fleming. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
