He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Martin and Lizzie Mae Martin; and his siblings, B. J. Martin, Cannie Salyers, Virginia Stephens, Rachel Jane Womack and Beatrice Martin.

He is survived by: his brother Buster Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
