Helen Carty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2023, at the age of 93, Helen Carty (Castlewood, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. T. Robinson and Cora Patton Robinson; her husband Emory Roy Carty; her son Michael Wayne Carty; and her siblings, J. S. Robinson, Mavis Ingle, Charlotte Jessee and Juanita Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Gibson (Bick) of Castlewood, Brenda Feltner (Butch) of Louisville, Kentucky, Billy Carty (Robin) of Richmond and Tom'Rico'Carty of Lebanon, Virginia; and her sister Jewel Melvin of Bristol, Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
