She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Moore and Nannie Moore; her former husband Taze Jessee; her siblings, Clyde Moore, Cecilia Griffith and Madge Austin Hicks; her grandson Matthew Jessee; her great grandchild Archer Nelson; her stepchildren, Tim Million and Hope Million Powers; her stepgranddaughter Amber Maxwell; and also Gordon Jessee.
She is survived by: her children, Amelia Jessee Oney (James Abel), Clyde E. Jessee (Betty) and Dennis Jessee (Debbie); her half-sister Peggy Lafoon; her grandchildren, Steven Jessee (Rebecca), Kendra Barnett (Brady), Millicent Carter (Wyatt), Ben Jessee (Courtney) and Courtney Nelson (Will); and her great grandchildren, Kristen Evans, Zane Jessee, Eli Jessee, Ryan Bruty, Abigail Carter, Ivan Jessee, Landry Jessee, Gabriella Nelson and Alden Jessee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
