He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Vicars and Patty Sue Salyer Vicars; and his wife Tammy Jo Vicars. He is survived by: his children, Brittany Vicars (Joey Herron) of Abingdon, Amanda Wright (Paxton) of Wise, Virginia and Jamie Vicars (Candy) of Meadowview, Virginia; his stepdaughter Robin Pyle of Abingdon, Virginia; his grandchildren, Dalton Taylor (Taylor), Alexis Wright and Olivia Wright; his brother Myers Vicars (Nancy) of Castlewood, Virginia; and his niece Riley Vicars.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
