We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2022, at the age of 79, Glenda Ruth Turner (Castlewood, Virginia), born in Dante, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Amburgey and Nola King Amburgey; her grandparents, Kenneth and Bessie Mae Amburgey; her brothers, Richard Wayne Amburgey and Lewis Charles Amburgey II; her nephews, Timothy Wayne Amburgey and Rick Charles Amburgey; and her stepdaughter Jennifer Carla Hale.
She is survived by: her husband Wilburn Carlos Turner; her children, Connie Regina Yates (Doug) and Jeffery Burns Kiser (Susie); and her grandchildren, Jacob Kiser, Miranda Meade, Heather Farmer, Amanda Hale, Dierk Yates and William Yates. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Mills Chapel Church (1600 Memorial Drive, Castlewood, Virginia 24224).
