She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lasley and Caroline Lucas Lasley; her husband Eugene Bickley Austin; and her sons, James and Teddy Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Austin (Mary Lou) of Norton, William "Tiny" Austin (Cathy), Barbara Nunnari (Tim) of Meyersdale, Connie Dotson (Roger) of Castlewood, Bonnie Austin of Castlewood and Jeannie Stanley (Michael) of Castlewood, Virginia; her daughter-in-law Mary Lee Austin of Nickelsville, Virginia; and also Denise Booth. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Georgia Austin will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Scott Million officiating.
