It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred L. Patrick (Castlewood, Virginia), who passed away on May 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Patrick and Lizzie Robinson Patrick; and his siblings, Otis Patrick, Helen Patrick, Virginia Hay and Nora Patrick.

He is survived by: his wife Nina Patrick; his sons, Rev. Mike Patrick (Rebecca) of Castlewood and David Patrick (Susan) of Abingdon, Virginia; his grandchildren, Tyler Patrick (Kandace) of Summerville, Amber Hess (Eric) of Surfside City and Asha Sproles (John) of Bluff City, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Landon Hess, Braelin Hess, Eli Patrick, Addyson Hess, Piper Sproles and Arabella Patrick. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.

Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia of no more than 50% of capacity gathering, Funeral Services for Fred L. Patrick will be conducted at 8:00 p. m. Friday, May 15, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Darrell Milgrim officiating.
