He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Yorke Sr. and Millie D. Yorke; his son-in-law Michael Lynn Couch; his siblings, Jim Yorke, Joe Yorke (Gladys), Norma Wiseman and Patricia Yercheck (Walt); and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Yorke and Deborah Yorke.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his daughters, Kim Couch of Abingdon and Paula Banner (Chuck) of Castlewood, Virginia; his granddaughters, Jordan Summers (Eric) of Castlewood and Taylor Banner of Charlotte; his siblings, William V. Yorke, Jr. of Ohio, John Yorke of Wise, Virginia, Audrey Higgins (Don) of Indiana, Anita Thacker (Terry) of Blacksburg and Karen Jordan (Mike) of Wise, Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Yorke and Deanna Boykin (Eddy) of Telford, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests those attending the Visitation and Services to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
