He is survived by: his mother Jean Tarr of Castlewood, Virginia; his fiancée Kathy Justice of Castlewood, Virginia; his children, Samantha Banks (Jonathan) of Whitesburg, Morgan Jackson of Castlewood, Virginia, Hunter Tarr of Castlewood, Drew Justice of Nickelsville and Seth Justice of Castlewood, Virginia; his grandchildren, Paisley Tarr, Piper Tarr, Samuel Banks, Keightley Banks, Brady Banks and Lindy Justice; and his siblings, Jeannie Peterson (Albert) of Castlewood, Gwen Million (David) of Christiansburg, Virginia and Jerry Tarr of Castlewood, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
