She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Amburgey and Grace Alderson Amburgey; her husband Dudley L. Dotson; her son William Dudley Dotson; and her siblings, Jerry, Jim, Freddie Amburgey and Carolyn Amburgey Hall.
She is survived by: her son Randall L. Dotson (Teresa) of Castlewood, Virginia; her grandsons, James Tanner Dotson of Damascus and John Casey Dotson of Castlewood, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Owen Riley Dotson of Castlewood, Virginia and Eden Grace Dotson of Castlewood, Virginia; and her sisters, Patricia "Sue" Gibson of Dante and Faye Woods of St. Paul, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
