We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021, at the age of 60, Deborah Darlene Perrigan Brooks of Castlewood, Virginia, born in Dante, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Adlai Vernon Brooks; and her grandparents, Clyde Thomas, Pearl Perrigan, Emmitt Clyde and Gracie Sluss.
She is survived by: her grandson Devin; her fiancé Ray Knisley of Salem, Virginia; her son Zachary Brooks (Shania Robinson) of Appomattox, Virginia; her grandson Deven Adlai Brooks of Appomattox, Virginia; her parents, Clyde B. Perrigan and Eula Perrigan of Trammel, Virginia; her siblings, Diane Perrigan of Trammel, Virginia, Donna Perrigan (Thomas Williams) of Castlewood, Jennifer Taylor (Tony) of Dante, Virginia and Robbie Perrigan (Heidi) of Castlewood, Virginia; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Clyde, Harlan Perrigan, Parker Taylor, Lane Fields, Deklan Thompson, Ruben Rasnick IV, Nathan, Tyler Donley, Scarlett, Arya Donley, Kylie Taylor and Kalli Jo Rasnick. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; and twelve great-nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Deborah Darlene Perrigan Brooks will be conducted at 12:00 p. m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Mike Yates and Rev. Terri Ann Funk officiating.
