He was predeceased by: his parents, Banner Gray and Ava Jessee Gray; and his sister Martha Ellen Gray Powers. He is survived by: his wife Patricia D. Gray; his daughter Janie Overbay (Anthony); his grandsons, Ryan Overbay (Natasha) and Brandon Overbay (Dana); his great grandchildren, Abel Overbay, Nolan Overbay, Benton Overbay and Brynlee Overbay; his niece Brenda Randles; his stepchildren, John D. Adams (Julie) and Addrienne Robinson (Mike); his stepgrandchildren, Zachary Robinson and Lindsey McIlwaine (Cory); and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Adalyn and Annie McIlwaine.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Love Mausoleum in Temple Hill Memorial Park (2529 Memorial Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
