He is survived by: his daughter Candy Goode of Dante, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jonathan Goode (Amy) of Connelly Springs, Blake Chaffin (Lindsey Cromer) of Dante, Danielle Vanover (James) of Coeburn, Chasity Cathey (Jeremiah) of St. Paul and Debbie Chaffin (James Huffaker) of Norton, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Braydon, Sophia, Gabby, Chloe, Addy, Brooklynn, Liam, Olly, Parker, Nova and Kami; and his siblings, Charlotte Chaffin of Abingdon, Virginia, Billy Chaffin (Tonya) of Floyd, Doyte Chaffin (Cathy) of Evans, Randall Chaffin (Vivian) of Castlewood and Danny Chaffin (Cathy) of Castlewood, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
