She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Linkous and Minnie Johnson Linkous; her husband Calvin Castle; her siblings, Bobby Linkous, Charlie Linkous, Buddy Linkous, Ethel Hileman, Ruby Fleenor and Marie Linkous; her grandson Kristopher Michael Olinger; and her children-in-law, William Michael Olinger and Karen Patricia Castle.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Olinger and Jimmy Castle (Belva Bratton); her siblings, Gay Nell Skeen, Evelyn Salyer and Jerry "Bird" Linkous (Brenda); her grandchildren, Todd Olinger (Amber), Jamie Castle (Alisha) and Shauna Castle; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Todd Olinger, Hope, Sydney Castle, Peyton Moore and Noah Castle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
