She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur T. McCamey and Bessie M. Glovier McCamey; her husband Herbert L. "Buddy" Simmons; and her siblings, Kathy Osborne and Jack McCamey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald McCamey (Joan) of Castlewood, Virginia, Ella Sue Hobbs of Cleveland and Carol Price of Manassas, Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
