It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey B. Wise of Castlewood, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Jerome and Virgie Lee Collins Bennett; and her husband Giles D. Wise. She is survived by: her children, Shirley J. Hileman (Blaine) of Castlewood, Deborah Woody of Kingsport, Tennessee, James G. Woody of Abingdon, Terry L. Woody (Judy) of Princeton and Thomas L. Woody (Heather) of Abingdon, Virginia; her grandchildren, James Woody, Jr., Ron Woody, David Woody, Donna Vanover and Kevin Hileman; her great grandchildren, Madison Woody, Constance Woody, Keith Smith and Isabella Hileman; and her close friend Chris Placak. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, Funeral Services for Audrey B. Wise will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, December 26, 2020, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Woody Scott officiating.
