He is survived by: his wife Ann Ellis; his children, Virginia Aten (John), Andrew Ellis and Daniel Ellis (Karen); and his grandchildren, Nathanael "Nate" Miller (Sarah), Noel Miller, Chad Ellis, Luke Ellis and Sarabeth Ellis.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church (6131 Sperryville Pike, Boston, VA 22713). Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
