She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Culliver Moran and Lou Irene Chitwood Moran; her husband William Thomas Saunders; her son William Culliver Saunders; her grandson Gregory Bragg; and her siblings, Charlie Moran, Edward Chitwood and Barbara Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Irma Minter (Kevin) and Tammy Duncan; her grandchildren, Chris Minter, Tiffany Minter, Michael Saunders, Aniya Duncan and Donna Duncan; her great grandchildren, Jacob Williams and Tyrone Stockton, Jr.; and her niece Debra Gentry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swicegood-Barker Funeral Services (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
