We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2020, at the age of 83, Mary Rodgers Stophel (Cascade, Virginia), born in Eden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Rodgers and Elizabeth Hairfield Rodgers; her husband Charles Stophel; and her brother Bobby Rodgers. She is survived by : her children, Ramona Buckner of Danville, VA, Janet Soyars of Cascade, VA, Kim Bennett of Eden, NC, Chuck Stophel of Ruffin, NC and Dwight Stophel of Cascade, VA; and her brother Maynard Rodgers of Eden, NC.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
