She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Pannell and Lucy Hairston Pannell; her husbands, John Shufford and George Law; her stepdaughter Mary Lois Florence; her siblings, Mary Lou Dixon, Horace Pannell, Jr., Willie Pannell, Hayes Pannell and Bishop Joseph Pannell; her grandchild Aster Shufford; and her great grandchildren, Kymani Hairston and Joshua Rudd.
She is survived by : her children, Fannie Mae Sparrow, Lydia Conley, Frances Shufford, Nancy Estes, Sandra Law, John Shufford, Jr., Charles Shufford (Norma) and Horace Shufford; and her stepchildren, Clara Law, William Law and Jim Law. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
