He is survived by: his wife Helen Reynolds Hairston; his children, Sherry Roberson (Nate) of Stuart, VA, Phillip Hairston of Richmond, VA, Ronald Dean Hairston (Angela) of Danville, VA, Essic Gregory Hairston (Crystal) of Danville, VA and Timothy Ray Hairston (Trang) of Madison Heights, VA; and his brothers, Bishop Major Hairston (Shirley) of Danville, VA, Thomas Hairston of Cascade, VA, Edward Hairston (Vernetta) of Cascade, VA and Ray Hairston of Cascade, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gathering during the COVID-19 outbreak, viewing and visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 5-7 PM from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time, masks are required.
