She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley "Fuzz" McDaniel and Violet Stout McDaniel; her former husband Edward Chitwood; and her brothers, Donnie McDaniel and Dale McDaniel.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Chitwood (Vickie) of Ringgold Virginia and Clint Chitwood of Cascade, Virginia.; her siblings, Douglas Wayne Stout of Tarboro, Gordon McDaniel (Kay) of Ridgeway, Virginia. and Rita Jackson (Joel) of Hillsborough; her granddaughter Amber Murphy (Virginia) of Richmond; and her great-nephew Ronnie McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
