She is survived by : her children, Delores Simmons (James), Vickie Adams, Charleene Magwood (Carlos) and Keith Hairston (Tina); her siblings-in-law, Melvin Hairston, Adelaide Strange, Yvonne Perkins, Mozelle Hairston and Irene Thompson; and her grandchildren, Corey Hairston, Tanisha Valenzuela-Landrum (Dwyane), James Simmons, Jr., Antonia Iyoha, Shemia Hubert (Gene), Keith Hairston, Jr., Trina Hairston (Lorenzo), R. J. Jumper, Jr., DeVante Williams and CeVante Magwood. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
