He is survived by: his children, Ethel Fitzhugh of Warrenton, VA and Gary Yates of Warrenton, VA; and his siblings, Helen Robinson of Midland, VA, Sylvia DeShone of Bealeton, VA, Roy Yates of Midland, VA and Carl Yates of Midland, VA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
