It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hannah Jane Applegate of Casanova, Virginia, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nic Appelgate; her parents, Edward Morgan and Gladys Morgan; and her stepsons, Samuel and Jon Applegate.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Carter and Morgan Applegate; her stepsons, Randy "Nic" Applegate and James Applegate; her grandchildren, Hillary, Brittany, Lucy and Hunter; and also, Christie, Kelly and Erin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the CCC Ruritans, an organization Jane and her husband Nic felt strongly about.
