She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Jackson and Joyce Jackson; and her sister Robin Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Kenny Chappell; her son Jackson "Jake" Chappell; her stepson Adam Chappell; and her siblings, Ronnie Jackson (Shari Edwards) and Sissy Dunbar (Kenny). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
