She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Johnson Sr. and Laura Jones Coles; her husband Ernest Harper; her sons, Ernest "Butch" Harper, Billy Harper (Carol Harper) and Milton Harper Jr.; her siblings, Roosevelt "Bubba" Johnson, Arthur "June" Johnson, Herbert Lee Johnson, Louise Parham, Catherine "Cat" Walker and Annie Harper; and her grandsons, Michael Coleman (Carol Harper Jr.) and Dwight Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, Doretha Zimmerman, Laura Gholson (Roger) and Calvin Harper (Charlene); her daughters-in-law, Alease Harper, Gloria Harper and Vennis Harper; her nephew Frankie Johnson; and her friend Lucille Beasley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other close family and friends.
