He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar L. Spivey, Sr. and Eva Carroll Spivey; and his siblings, Darlene Wilkins and Delmar Spivey, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Elaine C. Spivey; his children, Mitzi Carr (Phillip Sr.), Shannon Hopko (Joseph IV) and Eugene Spivey (Madison); and his grandchildren, Phillip Jr. (Becca), J. P., Edythe and Trinity. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
