She was predeceased by: her parents, Javie An Byrd, Jr. and Mary Cowley Byrd; her husband Danny C. Lacasse; and her brothers, Javie An Byrd, III and Larry.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Kay McCaskey (Ray) and Carl G. Byrd (Barbara); her grandchildren, Justin (Amanda), Korbin, Katherine and Marcus; and her pets, Lil Mae and Mollie. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
