He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Arthur Brown and Lena Margaret Smith Brown. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Christie-Brown; his daughter Jessica Nicole Darden; his stepdaughters, Angela Davis (Jeff) and Maria Brady (Jamie); his grandchildren, Tyler, Noah, Alexis, Kaleb, Gavin, Gabe and Will; his great grandchild Brielle; and his siblings, Mary Ann Matthew (Carl), Robert Brown (Jean) and Donald Brown (Marianne). He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 Cedar St, Smithfield, VA 23430.
