He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tommy Overton Sr. of Michigan and Audrey White; his wife Phyllis Overton; his children, Rondell Pugh, Thomas Overton, Gimika Overton, Joseph Overton, Nicholas Farrior, LaKisha Overton (Keith), Tasha George, Paul Farrior, Stephanie Farrior, Jessenia Corcino, Javiana Corcino, David Farrior and Tatyana Farrior; his siblings, Tommy "Junn" Overton Jr., Scerene Giles, Audrey C. Overton, Cecil Overton, Faye Anderson Jennings and William "Bill" Lawrence (Jean); his niece Amy; and his nephew Paul. He was also cherished by family members and friends.
He became a member of Sweet Haven Holy Church of God, where he donated his time assisting multiple churches in the community with HVAC services.
