She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter T. Merkel and Betty J. Merkel (Jacot). She is survived by: her son Michael J. Stimpson; her brother David Merkel (JeanAnn) of Burlington, MA; her aunt Mary Jacot (Roberts); and her grandchildren, Ainsley and Benjamin Stimpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
